Upsell Using Pricing Response
Definition
Airline
This capability allows an Airline to return upsell offers, whether requested or not by a seller.
Seller
This capability optionally allows the Seller to request and receive upsell offers in addition to a selected priced offer.
Variant 1- Airline returns upsell offers
Preconditions
One or more existing Shopped Offers
Process
The Seller requests a priced Offer using a previously shopped Offer or Offers
Airline returns the requested priced offer(s) plus upsell offers
Post Condition
Success
The Priced Offer and Upsell Offers are received
Failure
No Priced Offer is returned, resulting in an Error message
Variant 2 - Seller requests upsell offers
Preconditions
One or more existing Shopping Offers
Process
The Seller requests a priced Offer using a previously shopped Offer or Offers indicating that they would also like upsell offers
Airline returns the requested priced offer(s) plus upsell offers
Post Condition
Success
The Priced Offer and Upsell Offers are received
The Priced Offer, no Upsell Offers with an optional warning are received
Failure
No Priced Offer is returned, resulting in an Error message
