The purpose of this document is to describe the recommended usage of the Passenger and Airport Data Interchange Standards Reservations EDIFACT Message Standards (PADIS APTS messages). These messages are intended to facilitate the exchange of data relevant to airline passenger airport services processing. This document was developed, and will be maintained, by the IATA/A4A Passenger and Airport Data Interchange Standards Airport services Sub-Group. This document includes all airport services messages except those used for the purpose of through check-in (as listed below) which are described in the INTER AIRLINE THROUGH CHECK-IN IMPLEMENTATION GROUP Document.
